It was a real trip and honor to remaster Ween's ’12 Golden Country Greats’ for its 30th Anniversary Edition here at Mystery Room Mastering.

The album itself is a gem, and the demos on disc 2 are more than just demos, they're like an alternate more traditional Ween-like approach to the songs, but the real prize is all the unreleased tracks on disc 3 which do not disappoint.

Even for the most hardcore Ween fans, many of these songs are truly previously unreleased and it's like getting a whole extra bonus album 30 years later.

Available on 3xCD or 3xLP from RHINO Records. You can pre-order it now, and it ships on July 31st.

You can preview one of the bonus tracks now on your streaming service of choice, and I would expect a few more to come before the full release on July 31st.

OneRepublic and Universal Music Group just announced the first ever vinyl release of 'Waking Up' which was remastered here at Mystery Room Mastering.

Available as 2xLP black vinyl as well as a limited-edition 2xLP Baby Blue and Yellow version with an alternate cover.

The Digital Deluxe edition is available on streaming as well with some live bonus tracks.

OneRepublic has announced that their 2009 album ‘Waking Up’ will be available on several formats of vinyl for the first time.

I just received a copy of Slim Dunlap ‘The Best of the Bonus Tracks’ which stems from the recent 2-CD set ‘Every Little Word’ which came out earlier this year via Curation Records.

This LP features select songs from the full collection that was compiled and produced by Peter Jesperson along with Slim’s family.

It was an honor to help preserve these outtakes and bonus tracks so that Slim’s long-time, new, and future fans can hear what a great songwriter he was even if he felt at the time that these recordings weren’t ready to be released.

Both the 2-CD set and single LP are still available to order and available on streaming as well.

While it's important to select a great pressing plant to press your vinyl, what you REALLY want to be aware of is who is cutting the lacquers.

Many pressing plants are not forthcoming about who they use to cut lacquers and usually "in-house" lacquer cuts don't mean that. It just means the person/place they normally farm the work out to, but there are no guarantees.

Also, beware of vinyl brokers as they typically reduce the odds of great sound quality due to semi-automated DMM cuts.
