For this project, our team installed a true outdoor-rated TV on an articulating wall mount, allowing the homeowners to adjust it for comfortable viewing from both the seating area and the pool. 🏊‍♀️ Joe carefully considered the sun exposure, viewing distance, and how they planned to use the space to select the right TV and mount for their backyard.

Can an outdoor TV stay outside all year❓

Yes—if it’s a true outdoor-rated TV! 📺

Outdoor TVs are built to withstand changing temperatures, humidity, condensation, dust, insects, and moisture. Many are designed to remain installed throughout every season—including winter. ❄️

For an extra layer of protection, we recommend using a properly fitted outdoor TV cover, especially during major storms ⛈️ or throughout the winter months. Just make sure the TV is cool and dry before covering it.

Even under a covered porch, a standard indoor TV isn’t made for outdoor conditions—and using one outside would void the manufacturer’s warranty.

✅ With the right TV and proper protection, your outdoor entertainment can be ready whenever you are!

🌿 Real Project Spotlight

Earlier this week, we talked about why your Wi-Fi may work perfectly inside your home... but not outside. Here's how we recently solved this challenge for one of our clients.

During our initial consultation, we planned for strong Wi-Fi 📶 coverage on both the covered porch and the detached garage, where the homeowners wanted to install an outdoor TV, enjoy music, and stay connected while taking in the incredible view.

Since we prewired the home during construction, we were able to install hardwired access points above the ceilings, using the in-ceiling speaker openings for access. The result is clean, hidden Wi-Fi coverage with no visible equipment—just fast, reliable connectivity exactly where it's needed.

🌿 Real Project Spotlight

Yesterday we talked about how outdoor speakers can often be installed without tearing up your yard. Here's how we recently solved this challenge for one of our clients.

For this backyard, we installed two landscape speakers around the pool and fire pit.

✔️ One speaker was placed alongside the pool, where we carefully routed the wire through existing landscaping with virtually no visible disruption.

✔️ The second speaker was hidden inside a decorative planter, with the wire discreetly routed back to the amplifier through a small concealed trench.

The result? Beautiful, immersive sound that blends seamlessly into the landscape.

Great outdoor audio should be heard, not seen.
