Just kidding… it's not. AI is an amazing and evolving tool. We still need humans for moralistic decision-making.

While AI excels at rapid data processing and pattern recognition, it lacks the nuanced social awareness, ethical judgment, and lived experience necessary for complex decision-making.

Our role is to provide the critical oversight and moral context that raw data just can not produce.

Ultimately, we must remain active supervisors who refine and question machine output to ensure it remains truthful and socially responsible.

AI Is a Tool. Moral Judgment is Human. Responsibility Is Ours.

“It's not over until the fat lady sings”… and it's been a fabulous project from start to finish! Working with the board members of the Springs Opera Guild on the new brand was a labor of love. We provided multiple concepts and ideas that would bring dynamic resonance to their community. Turning a palm frond into a circular shape to then create a sun icon… this brilliantly fit into what we saw in other opera organizations… a vibrant unique shape.

Good design is more than a symbolic logo … it's the story, the meaning, and the overall cohesiveness that the entire suite of marketing materials brings to the brand. They now have an identity that has flexibility and motion… it sings and aligns with their community.

I am so proud of this project and grateful they love it as well.

𝗦𝗩𝗚 = 𝗩𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 Scalable Vector Graphic is perfect for logos and icons. Mostly for websites. Most vector apps like Adobe Illustrator also can open an SVG.

𝗕𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗮𝗽 bitmap images are made of pixels and need to be sized accordingly for how and where they are used. Ideal for photos and complex illustrations

𝗩𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 vector images are made of shapes and can be scaled without resolution issues like a bitmap. Ideal for logos and icons

𝗝𝗣𝗘𝗚 = 𝗕𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗮𝗽 One of the more commonly known file formats. This bitmap file has excellent compression and can look great while being a small file size, perfect for photos.

𝗣𝗡𝗚 = 𝗕𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗮𝗽 PNG’s have a special power… transparency and smooth quality gradients. PNGs are perfect for illustrations and graphic design elements.

𝗧𝗜𝗙 = 𝗕𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗮𝗽 TIF files are mainly for high resolution bitmap images for print. It also has transparency ability through an alpha channel. It supports RGB and CMYK color spaces.

𝗪𝗲𝗯𝗣 = 𝗕𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗮𝗽 With superior compression compared to JPG images, and the same transparency capabilities as PNG, WebP is becoming a new standard in website images for its small file size.
