Shopping local makes such a big difference to developing pride in your community. Giving a small business a shot to earn your patronage and show the added value of local accountability is a great way to improve your community and feel the comfort of developing business relationships with the people of your own town. Don't you agree with this Tony Jeffries post I saw on 4-11-16

What do you value from your vendors? We have saved businesses up to 50% off their previous suppliers, yet when they gave us a testimonial they emphasized how fast we got them the cartridges. It seems that what is most important to our customers is good service, dependability, and product quality. The fact that we save them money seems secondary.

We just reached a milestone at ABC Cartridges. We delivered our five-thousandth order yesterday to a Chiropractor we met through BNI.
Don't know if I should celebrate or use it as motivation. 5,000 in 50 months of being in business.
Makes me psyched to see how fast can I get to 6,000?

This time of year, schools are restocking their shelves for September. So I try to teach the school administrators some simple arithmetic. We can usually save schools over 20% off their toner budget by introducing them to re-manufactured cartridges. The savings we provide frees up more of that budget for minor capital improvements, like upgrading classroom printers from those antique inkjets to modern laser-jets! I teach schools the ABC's of optimizing their toner budget. Do your school a favor and ask them where they buy their toner because it's simple to save on ink and toner- as simple as ABC Cartridges!

I recently presented at a career day at a Hunterdon County Middle School. I represented Marketing as a career.

I spoke of the importance of understanding customer's needs when it comes to marketing and how it does not matter how good your product is if you can't communicate what it does to help the prospective customer address a need.

They then asked me what I did.

I said I help businesses and schools save money on something they need, and in the process enable them to help the local economy and the help the environment by being role models of sustainable consumerism. Doing green (buying viable products made from recycled components) while saving green.

We agreed that if people want to save money or help the environment, then they should be a customer of ABC Cartridges.

Smart Kids.
