🏀✨ There is nothing quite like the energy of Hoopfest weekend! One of my absolute favorite parts of this job is helping local teams show up looking like absolute pros (while having a ton of fun with it).

We had the privilege of working on some incredible jerseys this season, and these team concepts were just too good not to share.

First up is Kelly, who has come to us for three years in a row now to handle jerseys for her kids' teams. She always brings the the most creative ideas. This year we're the "Candy Crushers" and "Hoosier Daddies". Both teams got custom graphics on the front and personalized names and numbers on the back!

We also got to partner with Taresa to create a custom logo for her son’s team, the "Swish" crew! We designed the graphic from scratch, choosing colors specifically to compliment their classic Carolina blue jerseys. When we sent over the final design, Taresa told us, "They love them! Thank you!"—which is honestly the best feedback a designer could ever ask for.

Whether your team is playing for a bracket championship or just out there for the love of the game, looking the part is half the fun.

Drop a photo of your team's jerseys in the comments below! 👇 Let’s see those team names and designs!

Most businesses choose drinkware based on price… and end up missing the bigger opportunity.

A coffee mug. A water bottle. A tumbler. A stemless wine tumbler.

They all hold drinks, but the best choice isn't always the most popular one—it's the one that fits the person receiving it.

We've helped clients choose:

🏑 Water bottles for lacrosse players that became part of their season.

đź’— Personalized tumblers for hockey and figure skating moms as a thoughtful thank-you gift.

🍎 Large handled tumblers for teachers who spend long days in the classroom and need to stay hydrated.

🤝 Branded drinkware for teams, employees, and clients that creates a sense of connection and appreciation.

The most memorable gifts aren't always the most expensive. They're the ones that show you thought about who would be using them and how they fit into their everyday life.

Every style can be personalized with names, logos, graphics, or meaningful messages to make it uniquely theirs.

If you had to choose one for your business right now, which would actually fit your audience best?

A logo doesn’t need to be overly complicated to be effective.

It just needs to work.

And honestly?
A lot of logos fall apart the second they leave the screen.

They look fine on social media…
then suddenly become impossible to read on a hat, awkward on signage, muddy in embroidery, or completely lost on a vehicle.

Because a good logo isn’t just designed for one moment.
It’s designed for real-world use.

A logo should be:

âś” recognizable
âś” scalable
âś” versatile
âś” intentional
âś” aligned with your brand
âś” functional across multiple applications

It should work on:
apparel, signage, vehicles, social media, print materials, engraved products, packaging, websites, and more.

Good logo design goes far beyond “something that looks nice.”

Typography matters.
Spacing matters.
Contrast matters.
Simplicity matters.
File setup matters.

Every single detail affects how your business is perceived.

Because your logo isn’t just decoration.
It’s often the very first impression people have of your business.

And whether people realize it or not…
they’re already forming opinions from it.

Show up like it matters. Because it does.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, grandpas, stepdads, coaches, and mentors.

Scripture tells us in Proverbs 20:7: "The righteous man walks in his integrity; his children are blessed after him."

I see that truth lived out every single day in our home. I am so incredibly blessed—not just because I have an amazing husband, but because our two kids have him as their dad. He is the definition of a man who shows up. He loves, he teaches, and he guides us—even on the hard days, and even when he’s got nothing left in the tank. I am so deeply grateful to walk this journey of parenthood with him.

Today, we celebrate my husband and all the men who lead our families and communities with that kind of Christ-like strength, humility, and love. Your faithful, quiet dedication matters more than you know.

A flight school crew. A cleaning team. A construction company. A family reunion.

Different people. Different purposes.

But every order had something in common: creating connection, building identity, and bringing people together.

Before the work is finished. Before they pick up the phone. Before they ask for a business card.

Those little moments shape how people perceive your business.

For Red Letter Construction, we had the opportunity to create several pieces that support the brand experience from different angles:

🏠 Door hangers designed to communicate with neighboring homeowners during projects.

🤝 Premium business cards featuring a soft-touch finish, embossed logos, thicker stock, and a striking red edge for a polished, professional first impression.

👕 Another batch of team apparel—this time with a focus on finding shirts that were soft, stretchy, and comfortable enough for long days on the job.

Because branding isn't just about having a logo.
It's about showing people who you are through every interaction.

The details matter. The experience matters.

Show up like it matters. Because it does.

One of my favorite parts of branding projects?

Taking a business’s personality, style, and vision — and turning it into something that actually feels like them.

This was a recent brand refresh for Pinky & Palm, a nail artist focused on fun, retro-inspired, hand painted nail art that stands out from the ordinary.

She wanted:
✨ bold
✨ playful
✨ fresh
✨ creative
✨ something that immediately felt different

So instead of following the typical “pretty nail logo” route, we leaned into personality, movement, color, and a more custom illustrative direction that matched the experience of her brand.

Because strong branding isn’t about trends.

It’s about creating something intentional, memorable, and aligned with the business behind it.

And honestly? These are the kinds of projects I love most.

The ones where a business owner trusts the process, gives creative freedom, and allows me to build something that actually reflects who they are.

If your business has outgrown its branding — or never really had branding that felt aligned in the first place — I’d love to create something intentional with you.

Show up like it matters — because it does.

🌟 BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT: SIMPLY CLEAN SPOKANE 🌟

This week's spotlight is Simply Clean Spokane, owned by Mori, a mom of three who has been helping Spokane families reclaim their time and peace of mind since 2012. What started through referrals and hard work has grown into a trusted local business offering residential cleaning, Airbnb turnovers, move-in/move-out cleans, office cleaning, and concierge services like in-home laundry and errand running. Simply Clean Spokane focuses on making everyday life a little easier for the people they serve.

Why it matters: A clean home isn't just about appearances—it's about creating a space where people can relax, recharge, and focus on what matters most. Mori and her team often support clients through some of life's busiest and most challenging seasons, whether that's welcoming a new baby, navigating health concerns, or simply trying to balance the demands of everyday life. Their work provides more than a clean house; it provides relief and support.

My perspective: I love how Mori recognizes that she's not just cleaning homes—she's caring for people. Her business is built on trust, communication, and meeting clients where they're at. It's a powerful reminder that the most successful businesses often solve problems that go far beyond the service they provide.

đź’ˇ Tip for your home: Don't try to tackle everything at once. Start with one small area, like your kitchen counters or bathroom sink. A quick 10-minute reset each day can create momentum and make your entire home feel more manageable.

đź’¬ Engagement Question:
What's one household task you wish you could permanently take off your to-do list?

The Table Cover Showdown: Custom Throw vs. Sleek Stretch. đź’Ą

We love getting photos from the field! These shots came straight from our clients' actual events, proving that how you dress your table is the absolute first impression you make in a crowded room.

Both of these custom setups look incredible, but they bring two entirely different vibes to the real world.

Shout out to our amazing clients Behr Pest Solutions and Kelsey at Alliance Title & Escrow for sharing these snaps of their branding in action!

So, which style is right for your business? Let's break it down:

🌟 The Classic Custom Throw (As seen with Behr Pest Solutions)

The traditional throw offers a classic, elegant drape that looks polished and professional.
The Vibe: Traditional, trustworthy, and approachable.

Why choose it: It’s incredibly forgiving. If an event venue provides a table that’s slightly off-size or oddly shaped, a throw adjusts beautifully. Plus, it gives you perfect hidden storage space underneath to tuck away extra boxes, promotional items, and your personal gear out of sight.

⚡ The Modern Stretch (As seen with Kelsey @ Alliance)

The stretch cover fits snugly over the table legs, creating a tight, form-fitting contour.

The Vibe: Sleek, modern, high-tech, and minimalist.

Why choose it: It is entirely wrinkle-free. You pull it out of your event bin, stretch it over the table, and it looks flawless instantly—no steaming required. Because it hugs the table tight, it’s also the ultimate option for outdoor community events where you don’t want the wind catching your fabric.

The Bottom Line:
Your event gear shouldn't just fill a booth space—it should match the personality, energy, and intent of your brand.

Whether you love the clean, tailored contour of a stretch fit or the timeless, draped elegance of a classic throw, the goal is exactly the same:

Show up like it matters. Because it does.
