Keeping your device operating system and applications updated is one of the simplest ways to improve your cybersecurity.

Software updates often include fixes for known vulnerabilities that attackers actively look to exploit. Staying current helps protect your data, improve device performance, and reduce security risks.

Earlier this month, Stephanie Farmer represented Trumbull Tech at a Tampa Business Club networking event hosted at Tico’s Bakery in Ybor.

It’s always great to get out into the community and connect with other local business owners. One thing we’ve learned over the years is that nobody understands the many hats small business owners wear quite like other small business owners.

From sharing ideas to exchanging experiences, these conversations help strengthen the local business community and remind us how fortunate we are to have so many great networking opportunities right here in our area.

Thanks to Tampa Business Club for bringing everyone together. Stephanie had a great time and enjoyed meeting so many passionate local professionals.

Several technology stories this week highlighted how quickly cybersecurity, AI, and infrastructure continue evolving across the industry.

A reported leak tied to a U.S. cybersecurity agency raised concerns about operational security and the risks connected to publicly exposed credentials. It’s a reminder that even highly security-focused organizations still face challenges around access management and development environments.

announced new subscription tiers for Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp, introducing additional premium and AI-powered features. The rollout shows how major platforms are continuing to explore new ways to package services and user experiences.

provided an update on Project Glasswing, sharing that its Mythos AI platform has already uncovered thousands of software vulnerabilities. AI-assisted testing and analysis tools are becoming an increasingly important part of cybersecurity workflows.

is reportedly investing $1.5 billion into a new chip testing plant in Vietnam, reflecting continued growth in semiconductor demand and ongoing expansion of global manufacturing operations.

One of the most meaningful parts of our Wear & Share program has been seeing where the impact actually goes.

Recently, members of the Trumbull Tech team volunteered with SunRaising to assemble water filtration systems designed for communities without reliable access to clean drinking water. Spending time building the filters was rewarding on its own, but seeing photos and stories of those systems being used by real families put everything into perspective.

Each filter can provide up to 10 people with clean water for as long as 10 years. Something built by hand in a volunteer session can completely change daily life for a family, a classroom, or an entire small community.

That kind of impact stays with you.

Proceeds from our shirts help support initiatives like this alongside the local charities and organizations we work with throughout our community. SunRaising is also doing incredible work around sustainable communities and food insecurity, and their mission is worth learning more about:

If you are still looking for a Father’s Day gift for the tech enthusiast in your life, our Wear & Share shirts are a meaningful way to give back while supporting work that creates lasting change:

If you work in a CPA firm, you already know what a busy day looks like.

Emails coming in nonstop. Client requests piling up. Tax documents, payroll files, approvals, and shared links all moving at once.

Cybercriminals know that too.

Our latest blog looks at why accountants and CPA firms have become such valuable targets and how one normal click on what looked like a routine request nearly became a much bigger problem.

It also breaks down practical steps firms can take to better protect client data and reduce risk before small issues become major ones.
