Our take: YouTube ad revenue, brand deals, and platform features are all great, but they work best when you’re not relying on them alone. Algorithms change. Brand deals come and go. The creators we see building the most sustainable businesses are the ones who add an owned revenue stream on top of everything they’re already doing.
Think of it as future-proofing. Your channel grows your audience. Your membership gives you income you actually own and control. The two work together really well.
And you might be surprised, you don’t need a massive following to get started. Creators in competitive niches are seeing real results with as little as 10K followers.
