THIS. ❤️ This is exactly why I created the Creatimore Community Grant inside of Creativore.
Two grants. Up to $10,000 of in-kind support each. Every single year. From a small business, because we believe that's what small businesses invested in their community do.
Over 20 years, Creativore has supported housing for displaced people through UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, delivered a 25-year rebrand for Toowoomba Hospital Foundation, a brand that remains the face of one of our most beloved local institutions today, funded Healthy Harold to teach children about preventative health education, helped grow gardens, skills, education and employment through The Mulberry Project, amplified our local creative industries through Artalogue, and supported local farmers and community members doing it tough through The Soup Box.
The Creatimore Community Grant exists because good design has the power to change outcomes for the organisations doing the most important work. At times, a solid presence can be the deciding factor when a not-for-profit is asking for a grant.
We're a small business. But we're deeply invested in our community. Those two things are not mutually exclusive. In fact, Chantal would argue they are completely aligned.
