Did you hear about the JD Sports hack and data breach? On Monday 30th January, the retailer revealed that 10 million customers had their personal and financial data exposed in a cyberattack.

A server storing information on online orders placed between November 2018 and October 2020 was hacked, and customers' names, billing and delivery addresses, phone numbers, order details and the last four digits of payment cards were accessed. JD Sports has said that it doesn’t hold full payment information so “the affected data is limited”.
