Waggle Events We love spreading happiness. It’s what our business is all about. When we set up Waggle we knew we wanted to run our business differently. Which is a bit like us.

We help
people run really great events that create lasting impact: not only by creating
memorable occasions that stand the test of time, but by giving to the charities
we care about too. So we found inspiration in the
humble bee and its ‘waggle’ dance that helps the rest of the hive thrive. While going about its own business, the
bee is making sure the whole colony flourishes. The more events we w

ork on, the more
profits we can share with our chosen charities. We create standout events and the happiness ripples out beyond
our clients to the organisations we can help as a result. It makes everyone feel good all round. And that’s what a
good event should do: create lasting impact beyond the day itself. If you choose to work with Waggle it means we will pledge to give to the charities you love too. The more you
book us, the more we will be able to give to them through our profit-share scheme at the end of the year. And
because we love helping charities host events, we have a special rate just for them, and give back to them

Who are Waggle Events?

Waggle Events are a family run business, set up in 2016 with the aim of supporting through our profit support scheme and sharing over 20 years experience in the industry. We are so proud of our work with charities such as on a regional level and more locally, as well as our corporate work which helps us support charities further.

We provide help in creating really great memorable events that provide a lasting impact by giving back to the charities we work with. The more events we work on the more profits can be shared with charities. From packages to we are here to help and spread a little happiness.

Salary: £27,000-£32,000

What you’ll be doing…

Warehouse
Preparing equipment for a job (sound, lighting, audiovisual and power distribution)
Loading and unloading vehicles
Managing the warehouse
Equipment maintenance which includes equipment and vehicles

On-site at events
Running audio-visual equipment
Overseeing other crew members
Delivering the job according to the job sheet
Liaising with people on-site, including with the customer
Responsible for the equipment to be struck and flight cased correctly on site
Unloading and de-prepping at the warehouse

Technical
Capable of engineering a small band
Have a working understanding of video screens and switching equipment
Understand how simple lighting works and have some basic knowledge of running a lighting desk
