But what is a dichotomy in software testing and AI? When we consider two contrasting concepts – such as ‘Quality Assurance’ vs. ‘Testing’, ‘Manual’ vs. ‘Automated’, ‘Testing Mindset’ vs. ‘Development Mindset’ or ‘Humans’ vs. ‘AI’ – are we dealing with true dichotomies, false dichotomies or concepts that, in fact, exist on a spectrum?
