📢 Tomorrow, 25 June, at 1:00 pm CEST, we look forward to welcoming you to our panel discussion, 'Faster Isn't Safer: Quality in DevOps When AI Joins Your Pipeline', taking place as part of our AI Testing Talks webinar series.

➡️ Haven't registered yet? Sign up at https://www.linkedin.com/event/manage/7472236477658263553/

On 25 June at 1:00 PM CEST, join us for the next session of our AI Testing Talks webinar series. Hear from a panel of industry experts – Kari Kakkonen, Katja Obring, Tal Pe'er, Szilard Szell, and Yaron Tsubery – as they discuss how DevOps practices such as continuous integration, quality gates, feedback loops and observability provide the safety net that enables teams to confidently ship AI-generated software.

Drawing on the principles of the ISTQB® Certified Tester – Quality in DevOps (CT-QDO) syllabus, co-authored by Rik Marselis, the panellists will share practical lessons from the field and explore the capabilities testers and quality engineers will need to stay relevant in an AI-native SDLC.

💬 Have a question? Leave it in the comments and we'll do our best to cover it during the live discussion.

Save the date for the next session of our AI Testing Talks webinar series! On 25 June at 1:00 PM CEST, we will be joined by a panel of industry experts – Kari Kakkonen, Katja Orbing, Tal Pe'er, Szilard Szell and Yaron Tsubery – to discuss how DevOps practices such as continuous integration, quality gates, feedback loops and observability provide the safety net that keeps AI-generated software safe to ship.
Drawing on the principles of the ISTQB® Certified Tester – Quality in DevOps (CT-QDO) syllabus, co-authored by Rik Marselis, the panellists will share practical lessons from the field and debate what testers and quality engineers should be doing right now to stay relevant in an AI-native SDLC.

Some places remind us how much history can fit into a single landscape.
In Georgia's Kvemo Kartli region, the 6th-century Dmanisi Sioni Cathedral, the ruins of Kveshi Fortress and the archaeological site of Dmanisi tell a story that spans centuries. The discovery of early human remains dating back around 1.8 million years made Dmanisi one of the most important archaeological sites in the world.

Why is applying AI in software testing far more challenging than can be assumed? In large, long-lived and safety-critical systems, AI's promise of greater automation, broader coverage and faster feedback often collides with practical constraints. Many initiatives remain stuck at the prototype stage or introduce new risks instead of improving quality, raising important questions around trust, accountability and the reliability of AI-generated results.

In our latest AI Testing Talks session, Robert Fey, an automotive software testing expert and creator of the Automotive Testing Efficiency Framework (ATEF), Synopsys, explored the fundamental tension between AI's probabilistic nature and the industry's need for deterministic, repeatable and explainable test results. The discussion focused on how organisations can use AI without losing control, trust or accountability and how to turn AI from a hype experiment into a predictable engineering tool.

Robert also introduced the Automotive Testing Efficiency Framework (ATEF). Based on the idea that every testing system has a point where it stops scaling, ATEF helps teams identify where bottlenecks emerge first and provides a structured way to improve testing capabilities.
