A personal author update from Therese.

Most of my work through MINE Your Business is focused on helping adults build clarity, confidence, and structure in their business.

This project speaks to the same heart, just for a younger audience.

God Made Me Wonderful is my new Christian coloring and activity book for girls ages 8 to 10. It was created to help girls discover courage, faith, joy, and confidence while remembering they are seen, known, loved, and wonderfully made.

This is not a change in MYB’s direction.

It is an extension of the same calling: helping people grow with truth, clarity, and purpose.

AI is moving fast, but chasing every new tool can create more confusion than clarity.

Here are 3 things worth paying attention to:

🧠 AI is getting more capable, but reliability matters more than features.

⏱️ The best AI tools should save time, improve consistency, or reduce workload.

🤝 Before adding AI to a workflow, decide where human judgment still belongs.

The goal is not more automation.

The goal is less friction, better support, and clearer decisions.

That is institutional leadership under pressure.

Most founders are not doing too little.

They are carrying too many roles at the same time.

One part of the founder is trying to think like a CEO.

Where are we going?

What needs to grow?

What decision matters most?

Where is revenue being protected or lost?

The other part is still operating the business.

Who needs the next update?

What task is overdue?

Which system broke?

What needs to be followed up on today?

Both roles matter.

But when the founder carries both without separation, the business starts to feel heavy.

The vision gets interrupted by ex*****on.

The strategy gets buried under task pressure.

The work keeps moving, but nothing feels fully done.

That is not a time problem.

It is a role clarity problem.

Scaling does not come from doing more at the same time.

It comes from separating what only you should lead from what needs structure, ownership, and support.

AI is helpful.

But friends, AI is not your business gut wearing a navy blazer and holding a clipboard.

I am seeing more coaches use AI to make decisions they used to sit with, pray about, think through, or talk out with someone wise.

And I get it.

Decisions can wear you clean out.

When AI gives you a neat answer in 30 seconds, it feels like relief.

But here is the thing.

AI is good at sounding right.

That does not mean it is right for you.

It does not know your client history.

It does not know your values.

It does not know the conversation you have been avoiding.

It does not know what your gut has been tapping you on the shoulder about since last Tuesday.

AI can support your thinking.

It can help you sort options.

It can help you ask better questions.

But it should not replace your discernment.

The coaches who will use AI best are not the ones who follow it blindly.

They are the ones who know how to lead it.

AI is moving deeper into everyday business tools.

That changes the real business question.

Not: “Which AI tool should I use?”

But: “What should this tool be allowed to touch?”

For many small business owners, AI is increasingly integrated with emails, calendars, CRMs, documents, files, and client communication.

The problem is not always the tool. It is unclear boundaries and undefined access.

That is where the hidden business cost begins: scattered files, weak follow-up, repeated work, and sensitive information sitting where it does not belong.

Before adding another AI tool, identify what should stay repeatable, what requires judgment, and what should remain protected.

AI needs boundaries before it needs access.
