Meet Christopher Stehno! Christopher has been part of the Rhapsody team for almost 15 years—starting in support and now working in sales as a Principal Solutions Engineer.

🚀 What are you most excited about in the future of Rhapsody?
The fact that we are one of the dominant players in the interoperability market is truly exciting. I want to internalize Stuart’s statement “have a little swagger in your step” and let’s act like the leader that we are. To be part of an industry-leading business is truly a unique opportunity.

🔍 What are your tips for having a successful career at Rhapsody?
Lean into the “Be curious” part of our mission statement. Many problems have already been solved—you just have to go look for the solutions.

🌟 What keeps you productive and inspires you?
We are doing some really incredible things that have the potential to actually impact patient outcomes for decades to come. If we can coordinate social determinants of health, lab results, and episode outcomes—plus some of the new AI innovations—we can truly make a difference for future generations.

🏕️ What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
I enjoy smoking meat, volunteering as an Assistant Scoutmaster and Merit Badge Counselor, and focusing on personal health and nutrition.

Christopher’s passion for interoperability and customer relationships makes him an integral part of the Rhapsody team!

Meet Rick Wattras, Principal Integration Architect at Rhapsody.

🧑‍💻 Tell us a bit about your background.
I graduated with a degree in Computer Engineering and started my career at Epic as a systems engineer. During my time there, I gained experience in healthcare technology, server management, application virtualization, and cloud deployment. After a few years, a former Epic colleague recruited me to join a startup focused on selling a healthcare PaaS product. Together, we developed a separate managed integrations offering. That company eventually became Datica, which later merged with Rhapsody. Be
💡 What do you enjoy about working at Rhapsody?
Rhapsody has a lot of very smart people doing great work. Everyone is motivated to deliver quality solutions and to work with our customers to build solid relationships and solve problems. I love how spread out our teams are across different parts of the country and world; I think our culture is better for that and the collaboration that comes from it. Even though we’re not the largest company out there, we punch above our weight class with the quality of our team members and the work they are doing.
🚀 What are you most excited about for the future of Rhapsody?
Having been here for a few years, I’ve seen Rhapsody evolve as we continue to enhance our offerings and focus on high-value areas. I’m excited to see how we embrace more emerging technologies such as AI to improve and automate processes that will allow us to scale and meet the increasing demand I anticipate in the future.
🎸 What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
I play a lot of sports, including soccer, ice hockey, and volleyball. I also love hiking and traveling. I’m a musician that has been playing music (primarily guitar, but also drums) for a long time, both in bands and as a solo artist.
We’re lucky to have Rick’s dedication and innovative mindset on our team!
