New from Email Radar: Gmail inbox placement just crashed.
IPR has fallen from ~91% in Q1 to under 82% in Q3. For B2B senders on Google Workspace, it’s even worse: 88.9% down to 74.3%.
The likely culprits: fully enforced bulk sender rules, new Gmail features like Promotions sorting, and AI summaries cutting into engagement.
With Gmail making up roughly half of most program lists, that’s about $5,500 less revenue per million sends this Black Friday.
