AI is starting to speak a new language and it’s measured in tokens.

In the latest Friday AI with Phil, the conversation explores how tokens are shaping the way we think about AI usage. From input and output to reasoning, tokens represent the work happening behind every prompt and are quickly becoming a practical way to understand and measure AI in action.

A full room at the Hyderabad office made one thing clear: product leaders are eager to exchange practical ideas on how to build AI.

We hosted ProductTank Hyderabad, an informal meetup that brings the local product community together for open, practical conversations on the craft of building products.
This session focused on how teams can turn AI into meaningful product value, with insights from Prashanth Nanjundappa and a panel featuring Aravind Aluri, Praveen Kumar and Satyavati Kharde, moderated by Avadhoot Kulkarni. One theme stayed consistent throughout: while the tools are evolving quickly, strong product work still relies on curiosity, ownership, problem-solving, trust and thoughtful experimentation. The session closed with Satyavati Kharde sharing how AI is already driving meaningful progress beyond software.

Thank you to Srikanth Reddy and Manishankar Mamidichetti for bringing it all together.

A week built for reflection, challenge and forward momentum.

Progress leaders recently joined Executive Education at Cambridge Judge Business School for an immersive leadership and strategy experience. Sessions focused on the priorities shaping our business today, from navigating uncertainty and decision making to AI and leadership at scale. Practical simulations and group work turned insight into action.

Our Executive Sponsors, Amanda Arria and Loren Jarrett, joined during the week and brought a clear Progress lens to the experience.

Thank you to the Cambridge Judge faculty and Progress Program Director Ruthmarie Swisher for an engaging and thought-provoking week.
