A great day working with O'Connell Electric on their Project Manager Summit at Hotel Canandaigua!

The morning featured six different 30-minute breakout sessions running simultaneously across six rooms, with three upstairs and three downstairs.

Attendees rotated between rooms throughout the morning, getting the opportunity to participate in each session.

Then came the room flip!

For the afternoon, the air walls separating the three downstairs breakout rooms were removed, transforming Salons A, B, and C into one large ballroom for three general sessions that brought everyone back together.

It was a great event to be part of, and we really enjoyed working with the O'Connell Electric team.

Another busy week of meetings, followed by a packed weekend of events!

Friday: Harvest of Hope at the RIT Inn & Conference Center

Saturday: ROCMaidan at DoubleTree by Hilton

Sunday: Alpha Phi Alpha at Woodcliff Hotel & Spa

The NXT Level AV team was out all weekend supporting events across the Rochester area!

And we're right back at it today at Hotel Canandaigua, beginning load-in for a large corporate conference featuring a general session and six concurrent breakout rooms.

NXT Level AV LLC provides professional audio, video, lighting, and event production services for hotels, corporate meetings, conferences, and special events throughout Rochester and surrounding areas.

We’re looking for reliable people interested in joining our freelance crew!

Pay starts at $25/hour, with a 4-hour minimum per event. Higher rates are available for skilled technical roles based on qualifications.

Interesting one today!

We rented two 55” TVs, a speaker, and a media player for a built in TV.

We had multiple meeting packages out this week supporting clients at multiple venues including Hotel Canandaigua and Woodcliff.

And Thursday night we got back to the Strathallen to support the University of Rochesters 50th reunion opening celebration.

Then Saturday we had two events in one day.

We started at 6am setting up and supporting the Rochester Out of the Darkness Walk. We’ve donated our services to the walk for the last few years. This year we got to work alongside the team from 98.9 The Buzz.

Then we switched gears and supported the closing dinner for the University of Rochester’s 50th reunion weekend at the Memorial Art Gallery.

Today the team spent the day setting up lighting for a powerlifting competition happening tomorrow!

We added lighting around the competition platform, athlete entrance, and throughout the space to get everything ready for the event.

It’s always cool to see how much lighting can change the look of a space. Everything is set and ready to go for tomorrow!

Yesterday, one NXT Level AV crew was at Hotel Canandaigua supporting a conference for approximately 150 attendees. Two breakout rooms were combined for the morning general session, then separated at lunch and converted into two independent AV setups for the afternoon.

Meanwhile, another NXT Level AV crew was supporting a pharmaceutical dinner meeting with a 75” display, 11 microphones, and multitrack recording of the room audio and each microphone.

Two very different events, two crews, one busy Wednesday.

What a way to finish out a week!

Ending the week with three days of Hobby House Needleworks at Woodcliff.

That makes six different shows in 7 days, with several multi-day events running simultaneously across four different venues.

When you count each day of our multi-day events, that’s 13 total “show days” packed into one very busy week!

From Rochester to Fairport, Canandaigua to Waterloo, the NXT Level crew was all over the region this week.

Huge thank you to our crew for making a week like this possible, and to all of our clients and venue partners for trusting us with their events.

And thanks to Paul for grabbing some great photos along the way!
