We just want to let everyone know that we are going to put on a temporary freeze on buying and trading for the next few days. With the convention just days away, our crew has been in and out and onto other projects, and we are just don't have enough employees at this time. So, if you have items to sell or trade, please bring them in starting back up this coming Sunday - we still want you items, but please hold off on bringing them in. And please don't just bring them in to drop off until at least Sunday either, as we have all kinds of boxes and bags moving around for the convention, and we don't want something to get moved or forgotten.

Only the universe AND the Item Shop could hold adventure this big! Yes, we are back to posting pickups, and the latest one came in just in time for the new Masters of the Universe movie. Just a nice selection of Motu and Motu/Stranger Things crossover pieces. Stop in to check out these and the other new items in store, and take advantage of our 60% clearanced table outside as well!

Hello? Hello hello? Uh. I wanted to record a message for you, to help you get settled in on your first night. Um, I actually worked in that office before you, I’m finishing up my last week now as a matter of fact. So, I know it can be a bit overwhelming, but I’m here to tell you there’s nothing to worry about, Uh, you’ll do fine. So, let’s just focus on getting you through your first week, okay?

Uh, let’s see, first there’s an introductory greeting from the company, that I’m supposed to read. Uh, it’s kind of a legal thing, you know.

Um. “Welcome to The Item Shop, a magical place for kids and grown-ups alike, where nostalgia and fun come to life.” Oh it’s different. It says here… that we just got in some of these things called “Funko Snaps” where they are miniature versions of the animatronics! Cool! And uh… oh! They are only here while supplies last, so come into the store and see what we’ve got for yourself! Oh, and the crew says to have a faz-tastic night.

Chris, AKA PooPoo2079 was back at it again! This time, it was once again in Dekalb for the monthly tournament. He placed 13th in singles and 4th in doubles! He has a few more tournaments planned in April and May, and a few during the summer. Congrats Chris, and keep it up!
