ALEX ALCANTARA
Co-Founder + CEO, Ruby + Citrine

Alex has spent 15+ years working at the intersection of design, presentations, content and live events, helping leaders take complicated ideas and turn them into stories people can actually follow.

With a BFA in Graphic Design from the School of Visual Arts in NYC, she started her career as a designer but quickly found her niche in presentation design and event graphics. Over the years, that work expanded beyond making things look good into helping teams figure out what they need to say, how they should say it, and how the entire experience comes together on screen and on stage.

Today, as Co-Founder + CEO of Ruby + Citrine, Alex leads our creative and content strategy while still staying very close to the work.

Her experience spans:
• Presentation design + storytelling
• Content strategy
• Executive and speaker presentations
• Live event graphics + production
• Brand and visual systems
• PowerPoint design + animation
• Creative direction

Every great town has a place where people naturally gather. It might be the local coffee shop, the hardware store everyone stops into, or the community center where everything seems to happen. Those places aren't successful because of the building...they're successful because of the people who fill them.

We believe deserves a place like that. That's why we're working to acquire this building and transform it into The Gem at Old Stage: a home for local businesses, makers, classes, events, and the everyday moments that bring a community together.

Right now, it's just an idea. With enough support before August 29, it has a chance to become something much bigger.
