How do you grow a business you built from scratch? If you're Nate and Max Perkes, you FedEx your dad a job offer.

The brothers weren't raised in pest control. They found it, fell for it, and opened their doors in 2020. When growth outpaced them, they didn't hire a stranger; they brought in dad Ken, who left a career in the U.S. Attorney's Office to say yes. Mom Jen joined soon after.

Four family members, one team, and a good one at that. Midwest Pest Control just welcomed its 51st team member across Omaha and Lexington, with a rebrand to Slate Pest Control on the way.

While the team in Orlando has been gunning for gold, Rachel and Ryan have been enjoying the views in Scottsdale at Lawn & Landscape Technology Conference!

We've loved meeting some new faces, connecting with our partners at A.R.M. Solutions, and catching up with some of our favorite clients this week. Big thank you to Weathermatic and Bobyard ai for hosting such a cool event at The Vault last night!

Up and at 'em earlyyyy this morning! We are LOVING the creativity with team costumes and spirit this year. We don't think we've ever seen Mark move so quickly (peep the last image), and we've definitely never seen him ride a tricycle before. Academy is a lot of fun for the team members attending, but it's also fun for those of us back at the office (in Raleigh or remotely!) to see what these goofs are up to every day.
