Hackers reportedly used Microsoft Intune to wipe 80,000 devices at a major medical tech firm.

That is not an “oops.” That is an enterprise-sized digital leaf blower.

Your endpoint management tools are powerful, but if they are not secured properly, attackers may treat them like a remote-control chaos button.

Tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, QuickBooks, and Asana are updating terms so their AI can train on customer data. Usually that doesn’t mean your data goes public—but it can mean your real business data is still feeding their models.

And opting out? Of course it’s not always a nice easy button. Sometimes it’s a support ticket, an email, and a small test of your patience.

If this hasn’t made your privacy radar twitch yet, it should. Look for vendors with a clear “Do Not Train” clause and make sure your stack isn’t quietly volunteering your data.
