We're looking for two experienced legal professionals to join Altron Head Office in support of Altron Digital Business: a Senior Legal Advisor and a Legal Advisor.

Senior Legal Advisor:
- Lead legal matters for Altron Digital Business as a trusted commercial partner to senior leadership, account managers, and sales teams
- Draft, vet, and negotiate commercial agreements, RFPs/RFIs/RFTs/RFQs
- Drive legal risk appetite, strategy, and governance for the OPCO
- Manage litigation and represent Altron in industry forums
- Engage at Exco/MD level with structured risk reporting

What you'll bring:
- LLB with admission as Attorney/Advocate
- 10+ years' post-admission experience, ideally in technology, IT services, or digital transformation

- Provide commercially astute, risk-based legal advice to Altron Digital Business with minimal supervision, across a broad range of technology agreements

Today, we swapped our desks for serving spoons and joined the Maharishi Institute's Breaking Bread in the Inner City, on Main Street, Johannesburg.

Mandela Day reminds us that small acts, repeated together, change lives. Our team helped with kitchen prep, serving stations and dishing out meals, as part of the drive to feed 5,000 people in the inner city. Afterwards, we stayed to break bread with the community we'd served.
That's Ubuntu: we are because others are.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered, sponsored meals or dropped off water and drinks. Today was a beautiful day.

We’re looking for a skilled Legal Advisor to support Altron FinTech. In this role, you'll provide solution-oriented legal guidance, manage legal risk, and help protect and grow the business across contracts, IP, and regulatory compliance.

What you'll do:
- Draft, vet, advise on, and negotiate commercial agreements and legal correspondence
- Manage IP registration, renewal, and protection (trademarks, patents, designs, copyright)
- Monitor regulatory developments and advise the business on compliance (F**A, NCA, FAIS, NPSA, FSRA, POPIA, PCI-DSS)
- Resolve day-to-day legal queries and manage operational legal risk

What you'll bring:

Last week, our top 100 leaders spent the morning at the Maharishi Invincibility Institute. On the ground, in the city. We started with meditation and breathwork. We walked the sports fields that give inner-city kids a place to belong. We visited the Digital Learner Center and got completely outplayed by those same kids in a six-block robotics challenge. Kids who are learning to code, to build, to tinker.

We stood in the space that will become the Maharishi NextUp Institute of Technology, an inner-city tech academy with the vision to reach 100 000 young South Africans by 2033. We will be among its first tenants. We connected with Jozi My Jozi, who are rebuilding the city from the inside out.

Education, technology, and health & safety sit at the heart of how we give back. But days like this matter because they close the distance between the work our people do every day and the communities that work is ultimately for. They remind us that a simpler, safer, smarter tomorrow isn't just a strategy, it's a responsibility we carry into every decision, every solution, every team we build.

Standing in that space, watching those kids, our leaders didn't just open a time capsule. They reconnected with what their work is actually for.

Leadership isn't just about how you show up in the boardroom. It's about what you build, and for whom.

Recently, we hosted 85 children for a MathU bootcamp, an extension of our partnership with MathU. Thirty joined in person and 55 connected online, while six expert tutors helped them work through the maths concepts they find toughest. From Grade 7 to Grade 12, they asked questions, tackled problems, and pushed through. By 13h00 we had tired but satisfied kids heading home.

The same spirit shows up at Altron PROTEC Soweto, where learners give up their weekends for extra Math, Science and English. This past Saturday brought hot chocolate, muffins, and a conversation about why a career in IT is worth considering. We also shared what the Altron Ascent bursaries can open for them.

Different programmes, same belief. When young people show up for their own future, we'll show up too. Some of South Africa's next generation of STEM talent is already doing the work. We're here to back them every step of the way.

Yesterday we hosted our first Capital Markets Day since Altron’s transformation into multi-platform business uniquely positioned to drive sustainable growth in South Africa’s digital economy, with investors joining us in person and via webcast.

Our Chief Executive Officer Werner Kapp opened the day by defining Altron’s role in South Africa’s digital economy. Werner highlighted the growth opportunity of our platform businesses in a market underpinned by digitisation in mobility, payments and identity, areas where Altron has years of experience, meaningful scale and embedded infrastructure.

We showcased live product and solution demos in our platform businesses, with an interactive Q&A session with our executive team rounding out the day.
Operating profit has grown from approximately ZAR 450 million in FY23 to more than ZAR 1.2 billion in FY26. Our FY27 financial year marks the beginning of our next phase: Transformative Growth.

This morning, we officially launched the Altron Leadership Academy in partnership with Henley Business School Africa, and it was worth the wait.

Our Group CEO, Werner Kapp, opened with something that stuck: 95% of business success comes down to leadership and culture. As we move into Horizon 3 of our Transformative Growth strategy, we're intentionally investing in the leaders who will take us there.

50 delegates from across the Group - Head Office, FinTech, HealthTech, Digital Business, Arrow, and Document Solutions - have started their journey across three programmes:
- Higher Certificate in Management Practice
- Advanced Diploma in Management Practice
- Postgraduate Diploma in Management Practice

Content is co-designed with Henley to reflect Altron's context, with Action Learning Projects tackling real business challenges from within our own businesses.

Werner's challenge to the room was simple: show up, learn up, own it, and pay it forward.

Yesterday, the sales teams across our organisation came together at MonteCasino to kick off the new financial year and the start of Horizon 3 in our Transformative Growth strategy.

Our Group CEO Werner Kapp set the tone with three themes for the year: build the paranoia of champions, create systems that outlast moments, and transform tomorrow with today's actions.

UFC Middleweight World Champion Dricus Du Plessis joined us for an unfiltered conversation on resilience and what it takes to build something world-class from African soil. His message landed hard: bravery isn't about fearlessness but about the capacity to absorb loss and still stand tall.

We closed by hearing from the people who matter most: our customers, and celebrating our top sales achievers from FY26. The people who made the calls nobody heard, built the relationships nobody saw, and delivered the results we celebrated last night.

FY26 is done. Now we go again.
