They spend all day in “Chat” mode, which is basically just watching a cooking show. You feel productive, but the plates are still empty.

Here is the three-kitchen model I use to decide which Claude mode handles which job in my business.

Your AI is one government order away from being shut down.

Anthropic launched two strong models this week. Three days later, the US government called one a national security threat. Anthropic couldn’t separate US users from the rest, so the models got pulled worldwide.

If your workflows depended on them, you woke up to a different stack. No warning. No say.

The risk: you’re not switching from rented software to owned. You’re switching landlords.

Three ways to hedge now:

→ Diversify across providers (Anthropic + OpenAI + Google in parallel)

Stop using AI like Google. Start delegating.

The fastest way to “delegate” is to use Claude to do things you’d normally do yourself, but turn them into reusable skills, so you’re not retyping prompts every day.

Build skills for the repeatables: email replies, meeting summaries, follow-ups, formatting docs, rewriting in your voice.
Now you’re not asking for answers. You’re handing off outcomes.

Are you using Zapier / Make / n8n to run your automations?

For most business owners, the pain isn’t the tool… it’s the setup and maintenance. Building nodes, fixing broken steps, updating workflows… it adds up.

Claude Code Routines change the model: you describe what you want, connect the trigger, and let the system handle the workflow.

This is powerful, and it’s something you should be paying attention to inside your company.

And yes: I think we’ll see a drop-off in traditional automation tools and a big uptake in Claude because of Routines.

Claude Code just dropped Routines and it’s a big shift for business owners.

Routines run in Anthropic’s cloud, not your laptop.
That means your AI worker can keep running even when your computer is off.

Think of scheduled tasks like an alarm clock.
Routines are like a night shift. Work gets done while you sleep.

This changes what always on can look like in a real business: ops, alerts, maintenance, reviews, and more.
