UN ECE Regulation 10 is one of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) regulations for automotive. Both automotive components and vehicles are subjected to this regulation for several countries.

Current revision of ECE R10 is Revision 6. On 8 July 2025, UN ECE has published a new version: Revision 7. This new revision is published as Amendment 4 of Revision 6.

Till 1 September 2029, both Revision 6 and Revision 7 is applicable. But starting from this date, new Revision 7 will be mandatory.

Revision 7 requires additional testing like radiated immunity testing up to 6 GHz, instead of up to 2 GHz. This means existing type approval certificates which are issued according Revision 6 will also be updated. Are you ready for this update? You can ask anything about ECE R10 to TESTUPS.
