Convenience shouldn't leave your systems exposed.

"𝙍𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 𝙈𝙚" makes life easier. But what happens when someone walks away from an unlocked device and their session stays active?

For #𝗖𝗠𝗠𝗖, 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿. In-scope systems should enforce appropriate inactivity timeouts and session locking so unattended devices don't become an open door to sensitive information.

Yes, users may complain about having to sign in again.

That's a much smaller problem than leaving an active session exposed.

Wireless is a favorite target for outside scanning. #𝗖𝗠𝗠𝗖 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 mandate that wireless networks routing sensitive corporate data must utilize advanced encryption and robust authentication protocols.

A shared password (WPA2 or WPA3 Personal) won't meet enterprise requirements for networks that carry sensitive data. You need 802.1X authentication, where each user proves who they are.
